The People for Oregon Libraries Political Action Committee is a group of library supporters who work to support library issues and library legislation in Oregon. The People for Oregon Libraries PAC supports elected officials who understand the unique role our libraries play in our community and local library ballot measures. We also work to support the Oregon Library Association.

The PAC Committee includes leadership from the Oregon Library Association, but is a separate legal entity from OLA. OLA leadership included are the past and current OLA presidents and the co-chairs of the OLA Library Development and Legislative Committee.

Oregon offers an income tax credit for qualifying Oregon tax filers who contribute to qualifying state, federal or local political campaigns. The total credit is limited to $100 on a joint return or $50 on a single or separate return. Please see Oregon Secretary of State for details. Contributions or gifts to this campaign are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.
